Using an inter-active simulation based learning tool you will evolve a fictitious company into a robust Lean Enterprise. You will be exposed and acquainted with both the actual tools but also the supporting Socio-Tech attributes that support the Lean Enterprise Tools.
Make the Plan. We will begin the process by developing our Vision, Mission and Roadmap for the company using our unique STEP Diagnostic. This will then fuel our Policy Deployment engine to insure that we are meeting our daily and monthly targets. In this section we will show you the power of single page reporting using A3 methodology which can become a standard template in your Lean Enterprise Journey.
Work the Plan. You are about to make a significant investment to transform and evolve your business. In order to insure that we will be creating sustaining change we will begin the process by introducing you to two fundamental tools that will capture the positive changes and assist you to insure that they can be sustained. These tools are commonly referred to as Standard Visible Work Instructions (VSWI) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
Next, we will wrap some Socio-Tech tools around your Enterprise. These tools include the power of establishing Report-Out Areas for effective and rapid communication and feed-back. Visible Attendance to resolve casual absenteeism and begin building a culture of Adult-to-Adult relationship with your employees. Using the Birthday Club to manage and leverage your rumor mill.
We will show you the power of Workplace Organization and how to create the Visual Management Techniques. We will discuss a disciplined implementation approach that will jolt your organization by improving moral but without having a short-term detrimental impact on meeting your production requirements. We will share how to insure that your workplace organization and Visual Management techniques continue to blossom forever.
We will discover the power of establishing Standard Work for Leaders by using our unique Leadership Game Planning Tool.
Meet and Beat the Numbers. Well this is what it is all about … but meeting the numbers does not happen by magic. It requires hard work and a diligent focus on process and supporting attributes.
A powerful tool to help prioritize focus is to conduct an extensive Value Stream Analysis. Many organizations tend to ignore the administrative and communication portion of their Enterprise or will do an analysis independently. We will show you how to combine the two together for an enhanced impactful approach to streamlining your Enterprise Process Operations. Always during the Value Stream Analysis you will identify opportunities to introduce additional Lean Enterprise enablers to your organization. We will explore the power of several of the following in more detail;
A Lean Transformation is not complete without the introduction and leveraging of Formal Problem Solving. We will show you how to integrate Formal Problem Solving into your Lean Enterprise Transformational journey. We will show you how to use A3 methodology and integrated with the concept of “Market” will enable your organization to categorize and prioritize which problems need to be fixed first.
We will introduce you to some templates of how to create a Balanced Scorecard to monitor your progress and count your harvested cash as you transform your Enterprise.
Leverage your Transformation. Your lessons learned and enablers implemented can be applied outside your organization. These tools can be used to enhance profitability and market share.
Supplier Collaboration gets your supplier closer and more committed to your success and the more competitive they become the more successful your organization will be.
